The International Disk Drive Equipment and Materials Association Japan (IDEMA Japan) is an organization designed to develop a healthy disk drive industry and promote a network for the industry. Many disk drive related companies participate as members. They are active globally through in partnership with IDEMA US and IDEMA ASIA PACIFIC.

YEC Co., Ltd. participates in IDEMA Japan to fulfill the responsibility of a hard disk related company and develop a healthy disk drive industry.

Major participants: Approximately 100 companies participate, including Toshiba Corporation, Hitachi Group, Fuji Electric Device Technology Co.,Ltd., Showa Denko K.K., Kobe Steel, Ltd., Canon Anelva Corporation, NHK Spring Co., Ltd., and HOYA Corporation.
